Get the most for your budget! There are many ways to save money on the foods that you eat. The three main steps are planning before you shop, purchasing the items at the best price, and preparing meals that stretch your food dollars.
In this class, participants will learn how to include more fruits and vegetables in their daily meals as well as the benefits that result from doing that.
We will discuss how to build a wholesome diet and why doing so is important. We will learn how to evaluate foods across the spectrum of processing, ranging from not processed to ultra-processed. Finally, we will review the differences between whole and refined grains. A questions and answer session will follow.
