Interactive, trauma-informed nutrition lessons that include a food demo and focus on how to nourish your body, moving your body in safe & enjoyable ways, exploring where foods come from, and health goal setting.
The participants will learn how to identify where serving sixe, calories, sodium, carbohydrates and fat among others are located on the nutrtion label. Explain "healthy words" that we should look for in the ingredient lists. Give examples of healthy alternatives and recipes. Questions and answer session will be thru out the class.
