This class is taught using a trauma-informed curriculum to empower adults aged 18 and older to make informed, holistic health choices
Interactive, trauma-informed nutrition lessons that include a food demonstration, while focusing on how to nourish your body, moving your body in safe and enjoyable ways, exploring where foods come from, and health goal setting
We will discuss how to build a wholesome diet and why doing so is important. We will learn how to evaluate foods across the spectrum of processing, ranging from not processed to ultra-processed. Finally, we will review the differences between whole and refined grains. A questions and answer session will follow.
