The participants will learn how to identify where serving sixe, calories, sodium, carbohydrates and fat among others are located on the nutrtion label. Explain "healthy words" that we should look for in the ingredient lists. Give examples of healthy alternatives and recipes. Questions and answer session will be thru out the class.
Guess the amount of sugar in some of your favorite drinks and learn ways to drink more water during the day. Learn about ways to still enjoy your drinks by making them healthier!
Learn ways of maintaining healthy eating habits during the holiday but still enjoy your food.
